Water meter freeze prevention in apartments with corridors
The hallways are exposed to cold; water meters frequently freeze.
They heat and discharge a little amount of water every winter, but if you forget it, it will freeze right away.
To solve these difficulties, we installed IceProofy faucet.
All the pipes in the apartment pass though water meters.
Therefore, if you discharge water from inside, you can prevent freezing of water meters.
To operate IceProofy, we installed it on balcony and the laundry room, which are coldest.
If you discharge the water a little bit from the balcony, you can protect the water meter.
Just by replacing the faucet, water meters will no longer freeze during cold winter.
